Journey to explore Taiwanese cuisine in Hakka village (台湾客家料理をめぐる旅)

Everytime I visit Taiwan, I encounter amazing cuisine, which gives me ideas for new recipes.

 

This time my friends and I went to Hsinchu (新竹) and Beipu (北埔)to explore Hakka cuisine,  which is very delicious but difficult to find outside of those Hakka villages.  There you can find good tea (especially toho-bijin 東方美人 has great aroma) and various fermented foods.  

 

If you have already visited Taipei, I strongly recomment visiting thiese areas next time you fly to Taiwan!
